07/09/2007 | Incredible!!! DITEC automatic doors discovered in Pompeii archaeological site

Boasting over 2 and a half million visitors a year, Pompeii archaeological digs are the most visited Italian cultural site after the Vatican Museums.

This extraordinary setting, the true “picture” of the catastrophic Vesuvius eruption in 79 A.D. which totally wiped out the city of Pompei, discovered with the first digs two and a half centuries ago, also houses a major and well known catering facility open to the visitors.

The “Ristorante Internazionale” has recently been fitted with as many as four, fully kitted out DITEC Bis automatic doors, which ensure a faster and “smoother” flow of customers who crowd the restaurant every day.

A further example of how DITEC automations can handle even the busiest of catering facilities.
