DITEC taps solar energy and launches its Solar Energy products

Solar energy is a source of energy generously provided to us by Mother Nature.

DITEC has made investments to design new electronic control panels and systems, which ensure high performance and yet greatly reduce energy consumption or even allow the automations to operate with “zero energy consumption”.
The savings are ensured by the provision of power supplies designed with the addition of solar panels, which convert solar energy into electricity.

The direct use of solar energy can new be extended to operating automatic gates or automatic barriers.

In the new range of QIK barriers, for examples, the power is supplied by a state of the art solar powered control unit: the amount of power saved is directly proportioned to the number of opening and closing operations carried out on a daily basis, taking into account, quite obviously, the size of the panels and the effective number of sunny days in the area of installation.

Other major savings can be made by not incurring in the costs required to connect the automation to the mains (excavations, laying electrical cables etc.) if the gate or barrier to be automated is in an awkward location or is far away from the mains power. Ditec Solar Energy ® is the logo specifically designed for this and for similar products currently in the development stage, to be launched in the new few years.
